Happy birthday Marines! Thanks again go out to Superbookwormgirl (SBWG) for making this blog on books. I remember reading a lot during float (on ship). There is not much to do when the squids (Navy) call general quarters and start their training manuevers. At these times we were sent to our racks so we would not get in the way. Most of the Marines I was with saw general quarters time as a good chance to catch up on reading or letter writing. That's when I picked up Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series and burned through the first two books. Well, Happy 236th Marines! Semper fi!
