One of the problems with writing a blog for so long is that you start to repeat your self on occasion.  The up side is while I may repeat a theme, it's usually 'cause I have some fresh material YAY!  So here once again are some fabulous trees made of our favorite thing ever BOOKS!

I've been in a DIY mood lately...well enough of one to look through endless pictures on Pinterest anyways :-)  Anyways here are some cool DIY bookshelves to consider for your own home, or you know you can always come to my house and put them up for me :-)

Pumpkin Pages

In case you havn't noticed I LOVE FALL!!!!!!!!!  My favorite part is pulling out all of my fall decorations and completly covering the house in red, gold, yellow and brown leaves and PUMPKINS!  Every year my sweet Hubbin get's me a new pumpkin and it becomes part of the traditional fall decor.  Here are a few book inspired pumpkins I would not mind adding to my collection.

Paperback To Awesomeback!

I know I know I owe you all some nice long ramblings...but I have not seen my bed in a really long time.  Instead I will apologize for the lack of post yesterday and show you how to turn a plain old paperback into a leatherbound work of awesomeness!

This could be a really cool way to "upgrade" your existing paperbacks, or if your like me and like your books to match, this is a way to do it.  Now who wants to come to my house and make some of these for me?  Happy Reading Everybody!

It's A Wrap

Spent last night wrapping all the Christmas presents we were not gonna buy this year.  Seriously this happens every year, we decide that we will buy gifts for the nephews and just small token gifts or gift cards for everybody else and then we go shopping.  My Hubbin and I should never be allowed to go shopping together, our tastes, sense of humor, and monetary spending habits are near identical and it is very rare for one of us to be the adult and say "maybe Suzie Q doesn't need a thousandth candle holder even if it does have cats on it", it's more like "wouldn't this be perfect for Suzie Q it has a cat on it, she loves cats" and the other person is like "Oh that is sooooo perfect it will go with the other 999 cat related items she can't actually use but we get for her anyways, lets get it".  So anyways this leads to epic marathons of wrapping...which is fine with me 'cause I think it looks so pretty under the tree.  I also like to coordinate my wrapping with the tree each year 'cause that 's how I roll so it's always fun holding out for the perfect roll of wrapping paper.  Here are some literary wrapping ideas for you to coordinate with your bookshelves :-)

It is snowing, there is Christmas music on and I am sipping a peppermint mocha...it can only mean one thing TIME TO DECORATE THE TREE!  Actually mine has been decorated for a week, and I even created some snazzy book related decoration, but since my camera is being dumb you will just have to wait to see it.  In the mean time here are some perfect ways to put that finishing touch on you book tree.

It's Beginning To Look Like A Bookworms Christmas!

Every year Hubbin and I pick a different theme for the tree and wrapping gifts, it is our way changing it up every year without having to buy everything all over again, just some extra stuff for the tree.  Last night was spent picking out this years theme which is a bronze/green/berry theme.  Kind of a Victorian/Countryish type deal, I'll put pics up later.  Here are some Christmas decorations to satisfy the bookworms in all of us.
