Dedicated To Happiness

After a couple of weeks of all kinds of not happiness, I am feeling much better.  This is mostly 'cause I am surrounded by awesome people who know how I work and just make the world a much better place.  And also books...'cause books are awesome an wonderful and just all around YAY!  So today I would like to dedicate this post of dedications to the people who have dedicated their time to my sanity and happiness.

Literary Bucket List

Today I was going to write a post listing my Literary Bucket List, and then I realized that was silly, as it is an ever changing list that needs to be constantly updated as I discover new places and things, and hopefully actually get to cross some off the list.  To this end (I use this phrase a lot don't I?)  I have created a new page called Literary Bucket List that I will fill with all the potential awesome I find and hopefully update it with posts on how I actually accomplished/visited/read/did each entry.  

Please send me any and all cool things and ideas related to the book world that I can add to the list, because seriously you can never have enough booky goodness.   Happy Reading Everybody!

Sooooo....I'm trying to decide if covering my walls in pages is totally cool and awesome...or getting to the overly obsessed territory.  Take a look at some of these inventive ways people used there walls as one more reading space.

Thinker Pages

So completely random post today, but saw some of this artwork and couldn't get it out of my head...so here you go. All of this is by a Malaysian artist by the name of Daniel Lai and I think it is wonderful.

I love the combination of a recognizable figure (usually The Thinker) and book art, it seems very apropos (yay using my big girl words!).  I hope you enjoyed these as much as I did and check out the rest of his work.  Happy Reading Everybody!

Bookflakes

Put all my Christmas stuff away this weekend, the house seems really empty :-(  To make my house less dreary, I like to cover it in sparkly snowflakes all winter long.  Here are some literary snowflakes I may attempt this year to add some sparkly cheer to the potentially dull winter.
