Aspen May's Rainbow

Duty last night so I'm a little toasty as my Mamma would say, but it promises to be another beautiful spring day so YAY!
Aspen May's Rainbow Sculpture
I stumbled across this sculpture, interestingly enough inspired by Einstein.  I thought it was the perfect little visual for a beautiful day like today.  Happy Reading Everybody!

O. Henry Book

The weather is beautiful at the moment, making me want to get outside and explore.  This sculpture, which is part of a three piece set, is in honor of the author O. Henry
O. Henry Book Sculpture
O. Henry is famous for stories such as The Gift of the Magi which has been retold in many forms through out the years. I love artwork like this because it combines my love of books with my insatiable need to be out doors.

Libro De Arte

Alicia Martin is an amazing artist who has done some really cool pieces with books.  Here are a few of my favorite.

What do you think of these pieces?  What kind of huge art piece would you make out of books?  How much do you want to climb to the top of the first one?

A-Maze-ing Book Maze

Found this really cool book maze at the Cordova Branch Library in Tennessee.

It is a sculpture/maze called Tall Tales that covers over 1000 square feet, featuring classic books such as Peter Pan and Where the Wild Things Are.  How cool is this!

What book related things have you stumbled upon?  Do you totally want to get lost in this maze like I do?
