Record Rain

We have been having a record breaking streak of rainy dears out here in DC.  I am not complaining as I love the rain and find it very conducive to some epic reading sessions.  Other people though apparently are not as excited about it as I am.

I don't care though, I am going to enjoy the smells, sound and feel of the rain for as long as I can!  So if you can't get a hold of me,  am probably curled up somewhere with an open window, door, or porch so I can fully enjoy my rainy days.  Happy Reading Everybody!

Sick Day

I got sent home today with a migraine so bad I had to concentrate on not throwing up.  Med's and a three hour nap later I can now function like a semi-normal human.

The upside however is that once I could keep my eyes open without the excruciating pain of a thousand angry knives stabbing me in the head I got to cuddle in my bed with the rain pouring down the window and finish my book...so yay that.  Hopefully I'll have a better day and a rambling for you all tomorrow.  Happy Reading Everybody!

Clean or Read...

Sooo...I was totally supposed to clean my house today...and then I started putting my piles of books away...and then it started raining...and then the wine fell into my glass...so I read instead!

It's amazing how often this happens, oh well Happy Reading Everybody!

Rain Rain Come And Stay

I love a rainy day.  There is something about the smell, the sound, the curl upableness of a rainy day that just makes me happy.   

Oddly enough I can read just about any book on a rainy day, my normal seasonal rules don't apply.  So if you need my I will be in my reading chair with my fuzzy blanky, a cup of coffee and the windows wide open for the smell of rain to make me all happy.  Happy Reading Everybody!
