Shark Week!

The Olympics are over and a loooong four year wait for Rio has begun...well it's actually only two years 'cause I love the Winter Olympics too, but still it's a really long time for an ADHDer like me :-)  Happily the folks in TV land all love me and do there best to cater to my every whim, so to ease the pain...SHARK WEEK!  Yep they started Shark Week this week, knowing I would need something to ease me back into the world of reality, and what better way to do it then with big bloody shark attacks.  I have to admit sharks fascinate me, they are perfect machines, and swimming with the sharks is on my to do list.  Also sharks make for some great books, like these.

Are you afraid of sharks?  Would you ever go swimming with the sharks?  Do you watch every single show on shark week and then refuse to even go in your bathtub for a month after?

A Natural State Of Reading

Today is one of those days I really wish I could be outside with a good book.  The temps are in the low 70's, sun is out with just a few clouds, the light breeze bringing all the yummy scents of blooming flowers, all I need now is a hammock and a few hours off of work :-)  This also got me thinking about where in the great outdoors I would like to loll about with a good book.

Where is your favorite hideaway to read?  If you could read anywhere where would it be?  Are you an indoor reader, an outdoor reader, or who cares where I am or what is happening as long as I have a good book reader?

Oh man I want this so bad I would never leave!  I would probably put in some super comfy chairs, a coffee maker and a ton of comfy blankets.

It's an actual library in New York, and it has over 10,000 books stored in the bottom part of the structure.  The windows all open so you can really appreciate the ambiance.  Could you imagine curling up here in all the different seasons!

Does this look awesome to you, or not enough places to plug in a lap top? Would you leave the windows wide open, or enjoy nature from a more controlled enviroment?  When I build my castle should I have a hidden path that leads to this "book tower"?

Sunflower to Hydrangea

Today my little tiny baby sis turns...well I'll be nice and not reveal that here (mostly 'cause you will all know that I am older then she is and I want to keep you guessing)  I have always associated flowers with my youngest sis, mostly 'cause when she was little she love, love, loved sunflowers so every time I see one of those sunny yellow flowers I think of her

Now that she is a grown-up big girl her tastes runs to hydrangeas, which like my lovely sis stay the same at heart, while adapting to different environments and showing a whole range of colors.

I think the real reason she likes these flowers is they are one of the best places to catch a fairy!
